This CD contains well-known Christmas songs as well as two new Christmas songs performed by Thor Breiðfjörð, who has made a name for himself as one of the country´s leading “crooner” singer. It is nice to mention that the English text “Beautiful Christmas Time” by Ingibjörg Thorbergs, is the original text of this well-known song of hers, but at that time she was going to America to promote her music. She wrote the English text while she was waiting for Kristján from Djúpalæk´s text. Ingibjörg was particularly pleased with Thor´s performance on this recording.
