Cornelis Vreeswijk has many fans in Iceland. Spottarnir is a band that has held numerous concerts in the past twenty years. Singer Eggert Jóhannsson once slept in Cornelis’s bed in Malmö and has since then sung the poet’s poems and songs. Bassist Jón Rafnsson and guitarist Magnús R. Einarsson form the trio together with Eggert.
